Tap an exercise to interact with the top navigation.
You can play the video, read the tip, access the More menu, and go back to the Overview screen.
You can also swipe through the workout to see all the exercise details.
Start and Continue
Tap the Start Workout button on the bottom of the Overview screen.
If you have tapped an exercise, you may also tap the stat tracking area.
As soon as a workout is started, the workout timer begins. At any time, you can check the workout time by pulling down on an exercise to reveal the clock.
When you start a workout, a log is created for you. You can tap Discard on the top left before saving it at the end of the workout, or swipe left on the log itself in the Logs screen if you have saved it.
Swipe left on the exercise image area to advance through your workout.
You can scroll up and down in an exercise to make the image larger and smaller, and from side to side to go to the next or previous exercise.
Swiping on the last exercise takes you to the Complete Workout screen where you can save or discard the log.
You can tap the grid icon to return to the Overview screen, and jump from exercise to exercise that way.
When you swipe to an exercise, its image displays with starting and ending positions. To watch the video, tap the camera icon at the top of the screen.
To read the exercise tip, tap the ( i ) icon. Tap once to see the text, and tap again to return to the image.
Each exercise has a More menu with some additional features:
- Select Add to Favorites to add the current exercise to Favorite Exercises, which can be found in Builder. Once an exercise is a favorite, you can choose it again to Remove from Favorites.
- Certain cardio exercises such as the treadmill and bicycle default to Strength Tracking. You can manually change the reps/sets tracking to Cardio by choosing Cardio Tracking from the More menu.
When Cardio is set, you can also switch back to Strength tracking.
You can adjust any setting by tapping a space.
In the Note column, you can tap the page icon to enter personal notes about an exercise. Notes you create appear in your history whenever you perform the workout again.
The stopwatch icon on the right side allows you to time your reps within the app. Tap it once to begin the timer, then either tap the pause or stop icon.
Tap the + icon to add a new row.
Previously tracked exercises show up in History, below the tracking area. The list shows the most recent at the top and allows you to scroll through each time the exercise was performed.
History is a good way to track your progress over time.
If you have performed a workout previously, and only want to view the history of the current workout, uncheck the All Workouts box.
